Welcome to Sheep Knit
SheepKnit, where creativity meets craftsmanship. The journey began with a love for knitting made from Canadian and worldwide quality and ethically produced yarn. Each hand-knit piece adds a bit of whimsy to the world through the wonderful one-of-a-kind garments for the whole family and pets.Pieces are sold at Alberta craft shows or can be ordered directly. All custom blankets allow you to choose from 6 stitch types, colour(s), and yarn (silk, cotton, wool, recycled yarn, or acrylic blends) from our Canadian suppliers.

My name is Wesdyne Otto
My name is pronounced Wes-deen. I'm wooly happy to meet you! I live in Spring Lake, near Stony Plain. I am a retired art therapist. Knitting combines my love of art and design while creating useful products. I have a disability, which means I sit more than most folks. Thankfully knitting fills my time, keeps my mind sharp, and is fun - especially the silly hats in team colours and dog sweaters.
By transferring my sewing skills to knitting I create comfortable skirts and flattering vests for women and children of all shapes and sizes.
As I age, I look for scarves and cowls to disguise my wrinkly neck. My hair is bizarre and patchy, so hats and head coverings keep me warm and confident.
I hope to meet you via email or text to discuss your next project.
